この前のブログの12/14(日)夜UPLINK渋谷もお読みください。さて、一つの貝(生きているもの)は1時間で８リットルのお水を清めてくれるそうです。

これは最近の井上涼さん英語エッセイです。「私はお掃除貝になりたい〜」
　In my office recently, we had an aquarium installed. Fish will normally die if the water is not purified. So in order to keep the water clean some shellfish will be placed in the tank. They specialize in eating garbage and other unclean things.
In the marine world every creature seems to have its role to play. They work together to keep a clean and healthy environment. Unfortunately, humans don’t do this very much in our modern “civilization.”
We need to get back to caring about other people and the creatures that we share this planet with. 　私のオフィスには最近、水槽を設置しました。お水をきれいにしていないと普通 水槽の中の魚は死んでしまいます。そこで水を清くたもつため貝(生きている)を入れます。その生き物はゴミを食べたり、汚いものをきれいにすることを専門にしています。海洋の世界でもそれぞれの生き物には役目があるようです。それらの生物は健康な環境とそこをきれいに保つために共に働いているのです。残念なことに人間はこのモダンな”文明”の中でこれをあまりしていないですね。 私たちはこの惑星をともに生きる生き物たちと私たちお互いが、気遣って生きることに立ち返る必要があります。(水槽にはたった一個の貝ですが、昼も夜もゴミを拾って 水底に溜まった食べ物やゴミを完璧に取り除くので〜びっくりです。)
