その2:A funny story from sweet Yanagi-san. Pleas, Don’t laugh.

I was at a cafe terrace near saint Paul cathedral in London.

The weather was cloudy and started to rain a bit.

There was a man aged in his thirties. He was reading a book even in the rain and drinking coffee and picking on some sweets. 30

However, after he finished eating them I noticed his hands were so messy.

I kept observing how he would manage his messy fingers and all that. He seemed to be puzzling about it.

So I quickly passed my wet napkin on to his hands…. He was so happy, so he quickly took his chocolate bar, broke it into half and gave it to me. I said thank you to him.

Then, I had been noticing that there was a hole in the arm of his jacket.

So I was mentioning to him about the hole in his jacket.

He was blushing and he didn’t look into my eyes anymore and went quiet.

I shouldn’t have said that to him and I wanted to say more to comfort his wounded heart. However, although I could use all my english knowledge I could’t find the words to say.

I seriously realized the importance of attending Maggie & David’s English class.
